FX-Brokers is run by a small editorial team in Cyprus, led by the editor Alex Marchetti. The bylines below represent the team’s functional desks — markets, platforms, and EU regulation. Each broker review and guide is assembled from the desk’s combined research, then reviewed by the editor before publication.
Editorial Transparency
We believe trust is earned through transparency. FX-Brokers.eu is a small operation — not a 30-person newsroom — and our editorial workflow reflects that:
- The site is operated under an editorial standards framework documented at /editorial-independence. The editor writes under the pseudonym Alex Marchetti while maintaining a separate professional career in finance — see /about/editorial-desks for the full disclosure.
- The bylines below the editor are editorial-desk personas — Markets Desk (broker analysis and trading costs), Platforms Desk (platform and execution benchmarking), and Regulation Desk (EU regulatory tracking). Each desk pools research from contributors, broker filings, and direct hands-on broker testing. The persona structure is disclosed openly here and at /about/editorial-desks. The bylines do not claim individual qualifications and the desks are not represented as named individuals.
- Every published broker review and guide is assembled by the desk and reviewed by the founder before publication. The methodology behind the scores is documented openly at /methodology.
- We earn affiliate commissions from some brokers listed. This relationship is disclosed on every page that contains an affiliate link, and our scoring methodology is independent of commercial relationships. A broker that pays us higher commissions does not rank higher.

The editor runs the editorial standards, methodology, and final review for every published broker review and guide, and writes the Behind The Build commentary on the site. Alex Marchetti is a pseudonym used to preserve editorial independence and protect against conflict-of-interest exposure from a separate professional career in finance — disclosed openly on the editorial-desks page. Editorial oversight, fact-checking, and methodology are real and traceable; only the editor’s legal name is withheld.
